3 Day Selous Nyerere National Park from Zanzibar

You'll fly from Zanzibar to Selous early in the morning. Our driver will pick you up from your
hotel to the airport in Zanzibar early morning. Immediately as you arrive in Selous, our guide
will pick you up from Mtemere Airstrip and then you'll start a game drive. At 10 am, you will
have breakfast and then proceed with the game drive until lunchtime. Late in the afternoon, you
will head to the lodge. After you relax, the guide will take you for a boat safari in Rufiji River.
Animals include leopards, lions, genets, civets, porcupines, rabbits, bush babies, etc.

After breakfast, you will leave your lodge for a full-day game drive in Selous (Nyerere National
Park) and you will take a packed lunch with you. Selous (Nyerere National Park) is an untouched
wilderness and a great place to do a safari. The park has different species of flora and fauna from
crocodiles to big herds of elephants which are often seen along the river. Rufiji River is home to
hippos and crocodiles as well as thousands of aqua birds which are seen along the river trying to
catch some fish. Big cats like lions and leopards are also common in this beautiful park.

After breakfast, check out from the lodge. Depending on your departure time, you may have the
opportunity for a short morning activity such as a nature walk or bird watching.Transfer to
Msembe Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.Arrive in Zanzibar and transfer to your hotel or
onward destination, marking the end of your safari adventure in Nyerere National Park.
