Thomas HutterOutstanding 3-Day Safari with a Local Tanzanian Company We booked our three-day safari with Rioba Safari because the company made the best overall impression in terms of customer service, communication and professionalism. They were not the cheapest provider, but the booking process was quick, uncomplicated and very well organised. Our itinerary started and ended on Zanzibar: Day 1: Tarangire National Park, overnight at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater, overnight at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park, followed by our return to Zanzibar The entire safari experience was fantastic. Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara each offered completely different landscapes and wildlife experiences, making the itinerary varied and exciting from beginning to end. Our guide was a major part of what made the trip so enjoyable. He was friendly, positive, easy-going and professional. We had a lot of fun together, felt comfortable at all times and enjoyed three unforgettable days. The safari vehicle was excellent, the equipment was comfortable, and the food and drinks provided during the journey were very well suited to the trip. Everything we needed was available, allowing us to focus entirely on the wildlife and the experience. We also appreciated that Robas Safari is a genuinely Tanzanian-owned and operated company. Booking directly with a local provider means that more of the money remains in Tanzania and supports the local economy, guides, drivers, accommodation providers and their families. We were extremely happy with our safari and would recommend Robas Safari without hesitation. Thank you to Joseph, Bankres and the entire team for this memorable experience.Posted on Google

Arrivati al areoporto di Dar es Salaam ci hs accolto Peter una persona unica che nel viaggio verso il Lounge ci ha inlustrato il presente e il passato dell'intera Tanzania. Gean e Emil ci hanno ilustato le meraviglie del fiume Rufiji. Il secondo giorno con Goodluck nel safari in jeep abbiamo scoperto la flora e soprattutto la fauna selvaggia lui e stato il nostro talismano per trovare gli animali piu selvaggi e sfuggenti della svana. Il terzo giorno con la visita ai Masai abbiamo scoperto gli usi e i costumi locali cosa dire porteremo questo viaggio per sempre nel cuore grazie davero mi sono sentito a casa.Posted on Google

Mark CI booked a four-day package from Dar es Salaam in April 2024, including a day trip to Pugu Hills Nature Forest Reserve and a three-day trip to Mikumi National Park. Joseph and his agency provided excellent communication and reliable, honest, service -- and a superb experience watching amazing wildlife. Transportation was punctual and smooth. Alex was our guide for the six-day safari, and he was awesome! His ability to to spot wildlife from a distance was impressive, and his passion for nature was infectious. Rioba Safaris truly exceeded our expectations with their impeccable service and well-organized itinerary!Verified great but for one thing We did a 9-day Southern Circuit safari to Nyerere, Mikumi, Udzungwa Mountain, and Ruaha National Parks. The parks were great, the lodging ranged from as-expected to exceptional, and our guide Ibrahim was informative and helpful and resourceful when problems arose.But problems did arise. Avoidable problems. Problems relating to the safari vehicle. It was at least 20 years old. There was a big crack in the windshield. Getting out required reaching through the open window to the outside handle because the inside ones didn't work. We wrote all that off as rusticated charm.But then the vehicle broke down on the side of a remote dirt road, and we were stuck for about an hour until Ibra could recruit an eventual passerby to help jerry-rig a solution to get us to our next stop. This happened on two separate occasions. That's unacceptable.But as long as you're not in the Land Cruiser with a license plate ending in 534, I definitely recommend the company.Verified Beautiful Memories Safari Africa I had an unforgettable experience on the 5-day luxury safari in Tanzania with Rioba Safari.
