Full day birding for miombo woodland specials such as Miombo Blue-eared Starling, Miombo Sunbird, Miombo Wren-Warbler, Red-necked Spurfowl, and Pale Flycatcher.

Early birding along Kilosa road for Hoffman’s Sunbird, Reichard’s and Black-eared Seedeaters, Arnott’s Chat, Yellow-bellied Hyliota, and African Spotted Creeper. Afternoon birding in Kilombero Swamp for its three endemics: Kilombero Cisticola, Kilombero Weaver, and White-tailed Cisticola.

Hike the Udzungwa Mountains for endemics including White-lined Barbet and Rufous-winged Sunbird, plus species like Grey Tit-Flycatcher, Spotted Ground Thrush, and Kenya Crested Guineafowl. Later transfer to Mikumi.
