Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport or harbor, you will be warmly greeted by our representative, who will assist with your transfer to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy your first night in the serene beauty of Zanzibar. Your day begins at 8:30 AM with a pickup from your hotel and a transfer to Fumba Village, where you will embark on a special Guided Safari Blue Boat Tour. Explore stunning sandbanks and stop at one for a delectable seafood lunch. Afterward, enjoy snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, unwind on the beach, or simply relax and keep an eye out for dolphins in their natural habitat. As the day concludes, you will be taken back to your hotel to savor a delightful dinner and unwind from the day’s adventures.

After breakfast, you will be picked up at 9:30am and taken to a spice farm where you can see all of the local different types of spice and learn how they are grown. You will be overwhelmed by the abundance of botanical species growing in these gardens – exotic spices, fruits, and vegetables. Many of the spices have medicinal properties and are still used by the local population to cure certain maladies. Taste a variety of fruits ranging from the rose apple to the guava. Lunch will be provided at the spice farm and afterward, we will take a tour of Stone Town, where you will learn about the amazing history of Zanzibar. This is the heart of Zanzibar and an old town with winding narrow streets, historical buildings, and the best food markets. This part of Zanzibar is referred to by the local people as Mji Mkongwe and our guided tour includes visits to the House of Wonders, an old dispensary, Old Fort, a former slave market, bazaars, an old harbor, an Anglican cathedral.

Wake up to an amazing breakfast before being collected from your hotel. Today, we will take a tour of the Prison Island. Starting at 9am we will venture out and spend the first part of the day watching Giant Turtles and other beautiful marine creatures. Known as the best site to snorkel, jump in the clear blue ocean and go snorkel the coral reef. Once on the island, you will have the opportunity to feed and pet the tortoises, some of which are over a hundred years old.
Afterwards, the marine featured day will take you to the local natural aquarium where you will be able to get up close and personal and swim with the sea turtles. After all of this, it will be time to head back to the hotel for dinner and to enjoy the evening.
