Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel or the airport in Dar es Salaam. From there,
you'll be driven to Nyerere National Park, a journey that typically takes four to five hours. Upon
arrival at the camp, check in to your accommodation. Later in the evening, embark on an
exciting boat safari along the Rufiji River.
This unique safari experience offers a glimpse into aquatic life, including encounters with
crocodiles, water birds, and hippos. You may witness various animals gathering at watering
holes, as well as marvel at the diverse bird species inhabiting the park, which boasts over 440
different types. As the sun sets over the park, return to your accommodation for dinner and an
overnight stay.

After breakfast, set out for morning and afternoon game drives in Nyerere National Park.
Formerly part of the renowned Selous Game Reserve, Nyerere National Park is now the largest
national park in Africa. Named after the explorer Frederick Courtney Selous, the reserve is
renowned for its elephant population, with sightings of lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, and various
antelope species also common.
Originally designated as a hunting area, Nyerere National Park offers a unique wildlife
experience, with animals often more elusive than those in the Northern Parks. Enjoy encounters
with a diverse range of wildlife against the backdrop of the park's breathtaking scenery.

At 7:00 am, depart from the hotel and drive to Mloka Village, where your walking safari
adventure begins. Meet your guide and a Bushman, and embark on an unforgettable journey
through the bush. Experience the thrill of encountering wildlife on foot, a truly once-in-a-lifetime
experience.
After the walking safari, return to Dar es Salaam, reflecting on the incredible memories and
experiences gained during your journey through the wilderness.
